The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will conduct a public meeting for the above referenced project within Palm Beach County. This public meeting will be offered virtually and in-person. The virtual meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 followed by a question-and-answer session. The in-person meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025 with project displays for viewing and staff available to answer questions. PURPOSE OF PROJECT: Repave and restripe the existing roadway to extend the service life of the pavement, enhance safety for motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists while updating crosswalks and ramps to comply with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).

PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS • Repave the existing roadway to improve the resiliency of our infrastructure • Add “shared lane” pavement markings to help alert drivers that bicyclists may be present and are allowed to use the entire traffic lane • Replace and upgrade signs and pavement markings to meet current standards and increase reflectivity • Reconstruct damaged sidewalks and pull boxes to improve mobility and access • Upgrade pedestrian curb ramps to add detectible warning surfaces where they are missing to meet ADA at various intersections CONSTRUCTION IMPACTS • Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community • Temporary lane closures will be required during non-peak hours • Pedestrian traffic will be maintained at all times • Access to properties along the corridor will be maintained during construction
