The City of Lake Worth Beach will be closing their offices and all facilities on Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10. All City meetings and programing have been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date. The City expects to resume normal business hours on Friday, October 11.

The Grounds Maintenance division provides and is responsible for all lawn, trees, and shrubbery maintenance (sans contracted areas within the City) for all City-owned facilities and properties such as City Hall, Annex, Library, Shuffle Board building, Osbourne Community Center, Community Development Corporation building, Utilities Administration-Warehouse, Streets/Stormwater/Refuse building, Safety Complex, Fire Station #2, and the Public Works Administration Complex. Landscape and janitorial maintenance are completed by the Grounds Maintenance division for all parks within the City of Lake Worth Beach: Howard Park, South Palm Park, North and South Bryant Park, Constitution-Blue Star, Sunset Ridge Park, Spillway Park, Barton Park (The Beach), Triangle Park, Old Bridge Park, Cultural Plaza, and the Athletic Field Common Areas (North-West Baseball fields, Sunset Ridge Soccer field, and Memorial Football/Soccer field). An integral part of the Grounds Maintenance duties centers around both landscape (contracted mowing, trimming, mulching, hedge trimming, trash removal and pickup, and planting) and janitorial maintenance of all park pavilions and public restrooms (toiletry and sanitation items restock, cleaning, hosing down and blowing picnic pavilions).
