Responsible for formulating and implementing projects that are consistent with the Lake Worth Redevelopment Plan to assist in revitalizing and redeveloping portions of the City of Lake Worth Beach.
Established by Resolution No. 47-89, effective 7/3/89. Florida Statute 163.356 (3) (b), Any person may be appointed as commissioner if he or she resides or is engaged in business, which means owning a business, practicing a profession, or performing a service for compensation, or serving as an officer or director of a corporation or other business entity so engaged, within the area of operation of the agency, which shall be coterminous with the area of operation of the county or municipality, and is otherwise eligible for such appointment under this part. Ordinance No. 93-2, effective 2/13/93, to consist of seven members appointed by City Commission.
Effective May 1, 2013, Chapter 2013-36 FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE FORMS ARE REQUIRED.
Meeting Schedule: Second Tuesday of every month at the City Hall Commission Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
