NOTICE OF QUALIFYING
The City of Lake Worth Beach General Election will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, (with a Run-Off Election on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, if necessary), between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for the following three seats:
Mayor – Three Year Term (Candidate must live in the City of Lake Worth Beach)
Commissioner District 1 – Three Year Term (Candidate must live in District 1)
Commissioner District 3 – Three Year Term (Candidate must live in District 3)
Candidate qualifying will be held from noon on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, through noon on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at City Hall at 7 N. Dixie Hwy, Lake Worth Beach, FL by appointment only (call the City Clerk’s office at 561-586-1662). The office will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday, November 23 and 24.
The Filing Fee includes a qualifying fee of $100 to the City, plus a State Assessment fee of $245 for Commissioners or $295 for Mayor (1% of annual commissioner salary), paid with 2 separate checks written from the campaign bank account to the City of Lake Worth Beach. All Candidates must be registered voters and have resided in their district in the City for 6 months prior to November 14, 2023.
