Library Services:

The Lake Worth Beach Public Library (LWBPL) offers a variety of services and resources, such as books, newspapers, magazines, e-books, various audio and video formats, as well as student databases, e-readers, computers, printing, scanning and faxing.  All these services and resources are available at the historic library building, downtown Lake Worth Beach. Many resources are also available online using a LWBPL library card.  Start exploring online e-resources and databases from the library’s catalog “search” selections, or come to the library located at 15 North M Street, Lake Worth Beach.

Books:

The Children’s Room contains an outstanding collection of picture books, chapter books, readers, graphic novels, and non-fiction source books.  The space is a welcoming and quiet area for children to explore and to read, either alone, or with a reading buddy.

Computers and Student Printing:

The CREATeLAB is an area dedicated to students, where children can meet friends and use iPads and computers.  Printing is free for students doing class work, and various materials such as poster board, markers and drawing tools, are available for creating posters and artwork.

Wi-Fi, Printing, Scanning and Photocopy: Library visitors can connect to the library’s Wi-Fi, and print wirelessly from phones, tablets or laptop computers. Scanning, faxing, and photocopying are popular services. Visitors often bring their own devices to connect to the Internet, but laptops and computers are available for Internet access or printing.

Adult Best-Sellers, Fiction, Newspapers and e-resources:

LWBPL’s focus in adult library services is to offer a large selection of current popular fiction. Local and national news publications as well as popular magazines are also available, both hard copy and e-resources. E-Resources include e-books and e-audiobooks and the Gale Databases. The Gale Databases include popular magazines, as well as academic publications. Find the databases via library’s catalog: they can be accessed online using a LWBPL library card.
