Lake Worth Beach, FL –To reward residents for staying at home during this time of social distancing and to assist them with any spring cleaning activities they are undertaking the City of Lake Worth Beach’s Refuse Division will be providing a RESIDENTIAL BULK(ONLY) AMNESTY PICK UP SERVICE beginning April 23, 2020. In addition to the regular bulk collection the week previous, residents will be able to place a further 8 cubic yards of bulk on the curb (the equivalent of 4 refrigerators).

The additional bulk will be picked up on the following days: 

  • Zone 1 Monday April 27
  • Zone 2 Thursday April 23 
  • Zone 3 Friday April 24
  • Zone 4 Tuesday April 28

  • Furniture
  • Mattresses
  • Appliances
  • Box Springs
  • Other Similar Items

UNACCEPTABLE BULK ITEMS ARE AS FOLLOWS

  • Rocks and dirt
  • Wood
  • Metal
  • Car Parts
  • Construction Debris including roofing materials, cabinets, doors, drywall, fencing, concrete, plumbing fixtures, tubs
  • Tires
  • Steel
  • Hazardous Materials including oil, paint, and toxic chemicals

 
The regularly scheduled vegetation collection will proceed concurrently, although residents should avoid using their green vegetation carts but rather place vegetation in a separate pile no greater than 4 cubic yards.
