The Emergency Management team is responsible for developing, coordinating and leading the City’s Emergency Management Program, enabling effective preparation for, and efficient response to, emergencies and disasters in order to save lives, reduce human suffering and reduce property loss.

To accomplish this mission, the Emergency Management team:

  • Develops plans and procedures to ensure the highest levels of mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.
  • Maintains a comprehensive, risk-based, multi-hazard emergency management and training program.
  • Coordinates Federal, State and Local resources for mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery operations.

The City of Lake Worth Beach does not operate any shelters during or after the storm, please make use of county facilities as shown on this map. Also please take note of your evacuation zone and be ready if an evacuation order is given.

This is a limited time offer by the City of Lake Worth Beach to assist its customers with payment of their past due utility bill balances accrued during the COVID19 period – March 16, 2020 to July 16, 2020. Payment plans for Residential customers are for 12 months and for commercial customers are for 24 months. These plans are NOT available to customers with past due balances accrued AFTER July 17, 2020.
