Santa, an Elf and the Grinch stopped by to help us prepare our latest refuse PSA for the City of Lake Worth Beach. This Holiday Season please remember to follow the Refuse Ordinances and keep your containers hidden from the street.
The holiday season is a busy time for online shopping and gift-giving and we anticipate our residents will have a lot of boxes to recycle. Please be sure to follow these guidelines to ensure collection:
∙ Empty all packing materials, such as Styrofoam and bubble wrap, from the boxes. Dispose of the packing materials in the garbage or save for reuse.
∙ Flatten and cut boxes to no larger than 3 feet x 3 feet.
∙ Place flattened boxes in your yellow recycling bin.
∙ Oversized boxes that are too difficult to break down can be placed out for collection on your next bulk day.
Residents should be aware that there will be no refuse/vegetation/recycling collections on Christmas Day (Wednesday, December 25) but there will be on New Years Day (Wednesday, January 1) as scheduled. No other collection will be disrupted.
If you have any questions, contact the Solid Waste & Recycling Division at 561-533-7344 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Happy Holidays from all of us in the City of Lake Worth Beach!
